Just got my Google voice number...
I like the service. Topmost reason why I subscribed? Well the gate code for my apartment cmplx can be had only if you have a local number, my cell number was an NJ number. I simply registered for a GA area code and registered this GV number with my leasing office, so no longer do I need to rush to the gate to let people in ....
The service works like a charm and you have plenty of options to tweak it per your needs (plenty, coz its a free service so really anything they provide is "plenty" :D).
